Set in the scenic locales of Kashmir, #Laila Majnu is about the undying love between #Laila (Tripti Dimri) and #Qais (Avinash Tiwary), who belong to two warring families. It's done to death premise but what works in the favour of the film is the execution by #SajidAli, its performances, music and stunning cinematography. The film starts off of slow but picks up the pace once we are introduced to our Majnu. From there on, the film keeps you engrossed completely. And the interval point is powerful.The second half starts on an uneven note thanks to some loopholes in the writing but its the performance by Avinash Tiwary complimented by music that takes the film to another level.#TriptiDimri, who was last seen Poster Boys in a small role, acts well.
